The Story 

I have always been intrigued by the story of  the strong and courageous Northern heroine, Grace Darling. 
Born in Bamburgh, Grace  became a national heroine after risking her life to save the stranded survivors of the wrecked steamship Forfarshire. Her story became all the more powerful and enduring due to her celebrity and tragic early death.
