Handcrafted cotton twill dress with a soft sanded handle, designed, cut and made in Lancashire.

A dress made for comfort and for uplifting your spirits.

Designed to sit slightly high waisted, creating an elongating silhouette  while allowing ease through the body.  Pockets to the front bodice and deep side seam pockets in the skirt offer plenty of practical elements.   Natural corozo buttons chosen for their distinctive character to the front and cuffs.

Fit:  Lynne wears a Withnell size 3 (14-16)  in Noah (navy).   Dorothy  wears a Withnell size 2( 10-12) in Clay.

Our  handcrafted one by one process takes 3-4  weeks from order to completion. Each pair is meticulously cut and sewn by hand with dedicated attention to detail, ensuring a truly personal experience. The Story Behind Dorothy

 

Dorothy is named after my mum. She belonged to a generation that understood the value of good clothing and the importance of repair. She believed a garment should be practical, comfortable and beautifully made. If it wasn't useful, she wasn't interested. This shirt dress could only ever have been called Dorothy.
