MURIEL | Linen dress

A  dress designed with versatility in mind.  To be worn on its own or layered. The scooped neckline has a  lovely little collar detail. A high gathered waist  at the centre front and back is flared at the sides for a flattering  silhouette. Fastens edge to edge with self fabric loops. Deep inseam pockets  as standard for all your bits and bobs.

Model is a UK size 16  wearing a size 3  & a UK size 8 wearing a size 1 

* 100% linen
* Hand or machine wash at 30 degrees
* Iron as required. 

Every garment arrives  gift boxed using  recyclable materials with a recipe detailing the ingredients, their origins, the  story and  processes involved.  

It is a  2-3  week schedule from order to dispatch.

Sustainability & Ethics  - We don't waste fabric. We only cut garments once an order has been placed. Our off-cuts are repurposed to make accessories. We charge a living wage for labour and we accommodate flexible working hours.  All our materials are made from natural fibres.  We design, make patterns, samples  and your garments  in house.  

The Story 

Named after  Muriel, my next door neighbour when I was a child.  The warmest, friendliest lady you could ever meet. She baked great cakes too. Muriel moved out of the city with her sister to retire to the countryside. However she never lost her Manchester accent.
